back from OBS

IM BACK PEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEPS! :DDDDD
MISS ME??!!!! :DD

5 DAYS IN OBS WAS DAMN TOUGH MAN.
here is what happened...

-STAR OF OBS JOURNEY-

DAY 1

went to school damn early.
damn paaaaaaaaaaaaaisseeeeeeeeeeeeeeh cause im only one who carried a bloody big suitcase PLUS A HANDCARRY.
everyone brought normal backpacks. bloody.

took bus all the way to punggol jetty and from there headed to OBS.
erms... at first we went there is like damn weird. cause our pathetic school sent sooo little people compared to swiss, siglap and tamasek. then i was like seriously even MORE paiseh cause none of the peeps there brought suitcase. oh... wth.

we got to put into group. me, huimin, euinice, az1 and yas got put into MARCO POLO!
which of course... was da best!

so after everyone waited for like an hour sitting there doing nothing, the instructors finally introduced themselves. our instructor was CANDY. she's really friendly + nice luh! :)

played some ice-breaking games to get to know the people better.
we also playedthis free fall thing.
we all had to like climb up then fall backwards so that our teammates will catch us using this plastic blanket. we all took turns and no one got injured.

went to learn to do belaying after that. it was easy cause i learnt last year in my year7 camp last year.

after that pitch tent, cook, bath in cold water, pack our things into MASSIVE backpacks and sleep.

nothing much happened in day 1.. fast forward >>

DAY 2

morning went ROCK CLIMBINGGGGGG.

uh. i seriously suck at it. first attempt my feet only just passed the red line. pathetic. second try was much better! i nearly made it to the top... it was only two squares away >:( but we had to go ler, in order to kayak to OBS camp 1 on time.

so we all like loaded our bloody MASSIVE heavy into the boat and prepared our kayaks. at first i was partner with wydre. then i guess she gave up on me cause i felt tired every 5min or so? -_- i dont blame her. we stopped for a break and swapped partners. this time my partner was ahleem. this time i swear alot in malay siah :x cause i buay tahan ler. summore my first time kayaking loh. after halfway paddling with him, chris wanted to swap with him.

im so unwanted man );
i got to change 2 partners within a day. tsktsk.

in the middle of kayaking, marco polo had to pratice capsizing and people had to rescue us.
so me and chris capsized in the middle of the sea... after that he was like moving our kayak up the people's kayak and started emptying the water all by himself. i felt so guily ._. cause i just floated there doing nothing. next it was BAND SENIOURS TURN. AHAHHAAHAHAHA. they so poor thing... had difficulty putting their kayak on top of ours.

WE KAYAKED ALL THE WAY TO THIS FREAKING ULU PLACE.
ew. its damn horrible. no toilets. no shower. no changining room. i dont even care if i sound like a bloody twit!!! i buay tahan.

we had to do guard duty. everyone was like freaked out because they were wild boars and dogs? =_= but i didnt see any...

DAY 3

my feet felt absoulutly uncomfortable in the morning and so i was soooo looking forward to the freshwater lake. but when we reached there, the 3 instructors were like "oh. you all need to build a raft in 1hr". WHAT THE?
marco polo being da best, was the only group to finish on time among raffles and cook and marco!!!!! wooooooooo~
so we were like hyper when we lanched our raft. it was damn shiok jumping into CLEAN WATER :) haha.

after that went to clear the stuff and prepare for our journey.

paired with chris again for kayaking!
we kayaked for like 6km?

WAHLAO! THEN EVERYONE WAS LIKE SAYING I WAS SLACKING BECAUSE CHRIS IS ALWAAAAAAYS THE ONE PADDLING >:( t

e.g while i was resting in the swamp.

them: ey fiona.... slacking ah? got christopher sehhh...
me: wth! i got paddle hor.
them: really meh? why everytime i see chris paddling only.
me: I GOT LOR. ASK CHRIS.
chris: yea. she got paddle...
them: aiya. dont have to defend her in order to protect against her.

wth?

oh whatever. so we went thru the swamp and into the open sea. after that me and chris chiong all the way to camp 1. ahahahahah xD damn fun.

there we had like PROPER toilet facilities. then got uncle serve us food... dont have to cook!! :D

DAY 4

in the morning we did the tripod obstacle thingy. OURS WAS DAMN HARD CAN.
for our last obstacle we had to balance ourselves on the SKINNY piece of wire and walk like 3m across in mid air. but almost everyone managed to do that.

the lunch served by the uncle was the best meal in the camp.

next we had to pack and prepare for a hike to OBS camp 2. our bags was like damn bloody big and heavy can? but candy thought us how to make it "lighter"... but it didnt work for me -_-

so we trek like 10min or so, then we reached the mid point. played a problem solving game then moved on. damn funny lar. we were LAST to leave but FIRST to reach camp 2! :D marcos rule!

so we had to like pitch tent and cook by 7.30pm in order to go for this night walk thing. but in the end we were late and we decided not to go. cause majourity was like damn tired... especially russell. but we all help cleaned the place and pack everything into the stall.

me, rachelle, hanis and jiahui were in charge of ponchos.
then it was damn fun cleaning it... cause we filled 2 big buckets full of water and start jumping around in it.

went to sleep after that. but poor chirs had like some stomach pain...

DAY 5

last day @ OBS );
went to clean our tents and count everything in the store.
our watch lost 18 pegs in total, so each person pay 80cents...
so we gathered @ block 7 for the last time. it was like damn sad larhs.
when everyone got their OBS cert and photo.. we all hugged and shook hands for the last time (;

i bought a black polo tee for momento. lols. then off to punggol jetty again and back to BUKIT VIEW.

reach school and saw fellow sec2 clarinestist :D
all were like practing so hard sia... then asking lots of questions at the same time.
