long post about sec3 camp ahead~ :D

1st day -
reached school and was embarassed like shit. i was thinking, "omgwtfbbq. i bring 2 bags and there is this person carrying 1 small little bag?!!!' nevermind then. we then set off from school to the the MOE changi camp site. it was kinda cool as everyone would just pause for a moment and see what airline is landing. (from what i observed, most of the time it was SIA -.-)

the bunks was like.. uh.. i dunno how to say. basically we were sleeping on wooden planks under a roof. it is so called a modified modern version of a kampong house. below there is a space for activites and connecting it is a staircase with a huge "house". meaning that the wooden planks acts as "bunks" and a cement floor as a "runway" for smelly shoes. not to mention it is open air and people can see you from any angle from below.

bascially, we played ice breaking& team building games, learn how to do first aid, pitch tent on the first day. fast forward to at night... we had to bring down a shirt for nightwalk to blindfold ourselves. its completely different from what other people blogged. you walk around in a blinkfold and find your friends.
after that activity had supper and went back to our bunks. we all stayed up for awhile to tell ghost stories and have our midnight snacks >:) managed to sleep well.

2nd day -
woke up at 5am+ and see that it was still raining!! went down to the toilet. bloodyhell, toilet was already filled with so much people -_- had breakfast then learnt how to tie knots. next, e4 and e5 had to go build our rafts using pipes and barrels. you could see alot of us were like shivering due to the rain and wind blowing. so after building, both classes headed down for kayaking.

we had to kayak in 3s, and so my partner was injin and faiz.
so we were like kayaking for less than 30sec and WE CAPSIZED. ROFL! damn funny, everyone was looking at us while we waited for the instructor to came and rescue us. so paiseh! but nevermind. we then chionged towards the instructor. played some games and went back to shore. i was quite disappointed cause we were only at sea for as little while ):
bathed and had lunch. e5 had to stay back for kitchen duty ]: after lunch was land actvities. i was put into high element. wtf, i regretted not going to other group. when it was my turn, the guy told me they want to CLOSE the station. i couldnt be bothered to wait for another 4 more person. bravo then moved on to rock climbing. i managed to reach the top for the first time :] i was also lucky enough to be the last person to do the zipline aka mini flying fox.

moving on to night time which was our campfire night!
it was quite fun cause many of us were screaming and singing like mad people :D
i think our cheer for the performance rocked. heheh.
but soon the fun was over and we had to this survey thing before going off to sleep. i put mostly negative comment ><

3rd day -
last day at camp and the sec3s had to write a letter to their "cousins" about the camp =.=
the class had a little time with the instructors... then we headed back to bvss.


overall the camp was alright. wasnt the most exciting one but it was fun :] back to top?
