today was bvmb's BIGGGGG DAY, the SYF BAND COMPETITION.
i had to wake up at 4.30am today! got a life from louise dad's car and we went to school around 5.45am. the earliest time i've reached in secondary school ._. then we were each given this bun bought by Mr tan to supply us with energy. (or maybe so we dont sound like chickens)
whole lot of us went to set up instrument and did some last minute practice + warm-up. we boarded the bus and headed for Singapore Conference Hall. on the bus, the seniors were trying to make us less nervous by encouraging us to cheer, making fun of the "Sunrise" and the birds flying outside :] i was also smsing tiffany and was like complaining about a someone who is just scared to play and can seldom be heard in our choice piece. she asked me to try bribing her to play well since i told her that she refused to be like that all the time.

reached the conference hall and we had to wait quite awhile before its our turn. being on stage with those professional angmohs + asians hearing us kinda freaked me out. i mean if you play a wrong note or something, they will know... just be listening. after playing both songs, the whole band knew.... either COP or bronze. i mean you can see the disappointed look on our instructor's face. after that we went to put down instruments and went inside the conference hall to watch other bands' performance. whenever one of the other bands squeaked or played something not right, we will all look at each other without saying a word because we all know why. most of us were like damn emo and sad for the rest of the trip back to school. sigh.

despite us being emo, we still had our lunch and went back to class. i slept most of time during chem since my eyes were "freaking red la!" as said by someone. finally it was break and i was busy copying maths... then yijing and joel came in and said, "sigh. we got COP" most of them said they looked fake and i also dunno whether to believe them. but soon we could tell they were laughing la. 10mins later, shenlynn and joel came running into e5 screaming, "WE GOT SILVERRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" then i ran towards them and screamed like hell. then we all split up and ran around the temporary structure screaming that we got silver. the first class i went to was 3e4.

*knocks on glass window and points to gene!*
*gene looks at me*
*did an 'S' shape using my hands with shenlynn trying to make the shape*
gene: HUH?!! S?? SEX??!!
me: *screaming* NO!! WE GOT SILVERRRR LA!!!!!!!!!!!

he and larissa came out and started screaming with us. soon enough, a whole lot of upper sec bvmb members stood at the centre and started screaming, cheering and hi-5ing each other like mad! even those non-members were screaming "WOOO SILVER~~!!" and hi-5ing with us too! :D:D:D which was really nice of them! all the us were like damn high and freaking overjoyed.
to some people they may think "chey. silver only what... big deal." like puh-leeeez, you will never understand how we felt. AND DAMN that chan poh long for saying that we were a bunch of siao kias screaming our heads off and not being like students. like wth, if your x-country members all get 1st place, you will sure be damn happy and scream too right? zz. f-er.

CONGRATZ TO US FOR GETTING A SILVER.
we have worked hard trying to produce a good sound. all those weekend and late practices paid off. we could even get a silver without having a proper facilities for a band! :D *LOVES!*
