*Updated* FINALLY BACK IN SG!!!!! :D

I'm in KL right now.
I have never smelled so much smoke from the joss-stick in my entire life. As a 16year old, I've already attended 2 funerals - 1 Christian, 1 Buddhist. Wonder how many more I have to attend before my 17th birthday ._.

I think Christian funerals are much easier compared to Buddhists' one. Even though our family is Catholic, my mum made us hold joss-sticks, sit through the evening Nuns' chantings and bowing. I think its a good experience to see how funerals are conducted in the Buddhist way. Its so sad that we're not "acknowledged" as our granpa's grandchilden due to our surname. Only my uncle's son is because he shares the same surname. SEXIST!!!!!!! We all had to do this in the funeral palour, which is modern!! There was plasma TV and even Wi-Fi!!!! One of my aunt was even Skyping with my cousins whose in Germany.

I think KL's crematorium is so much scarier than Singapore! Mandai has this 2 storey kinda place. You're standing on top in an enclosed air-conditioned room on the 2nd level and looking at the coffin which is below on the 1st floor. Then slowly the cremation doors will open and the machine slowly slots the body in and it ends. For KL's case, the place is an open air building with the coffin right infront of your faces!! It will then slowly get lowered down. At first I thought below are flames and the burning process would begin. BUT CHEY, when I glanced down it was some basement and the coffin was gone! -_-

Next we were suppose to go to the temple and set up the tablet? But the son-in-laws and grandchildren went to the vegetarian restaurant instead cause we're not "related" and no need to go. BLAH. It was already 1+ and we were freaking hungry, so we decided to get a RAMLY BURGER! Suppose to be eating vegetarian ended up eating meat -_-! KL's Ramly burger is awesome!!!!!!!! Better than the pasar malam one anytime. They actually cut the patty into half and put pepper and some maggie sause onto it. The buns are fluffy and they added cucumber and cabbage instead of the sad looking cabbage the pasar malam one. Had half.......... and another half............ before having vegetarian. I HATE VEGETARIAN FOOD!!!!!!! How can vegeboys like Andrew and Sheam survive??!! Everything is pratically toufu skin or flour! The "luncheon meat" is totally crap. Like my dad said "why bother trying so hard to make it like the real thing, while the real thing is already available?"
