nostalgic
Today was the SYF competition for BVMB. I think they did good for a small band.I MEAN, HOW CAN YOU COMPARE US WITH BIGASS BAND LIKE HENDERSON/SWISS? HCB had like 2 double bass, 6 tubas while we only had 2 tubas. An example to show the vast contrast.

I'm sure many seniors experienced this nostalgic feeling today.
Just 2 years ago, it was our turn to compete and perform. I can still remember during the Sec2 December holidays, we would travel to BBCC every Wednesday and Friday from 8am-6pm because we didn't have any place to practice in school. Getting scolded by Mr Hoe, doing pumping for lame reasons and having sectionals at the rooftop were part of the weekly routine. I think this was the period where the band members drew very close. At early sec3 we started having more practice and started becoming more anxious. Almost every band members would put "GOLDteam" on their MSN nick! So cute. The most memorable practice would be the time where we all had a outdoor pratice at the back of the temporary classrooms facing a whole patch of grass in order to test how loud we were. This was afew days prior to the actual SYF if I'm not wrong.
At a blink of an eye, SYF day was here. OHH, I forgot I wrote an entry about it here: http://vintagespice.blogspot.com/2007/04/lets-go-bvmb-let-go.html
OMGLOL GW!!!!!!! I DIDN'T KNOW YOUR SCHOOL'S BAND WAS AFTER MINE??? I can't believe at Sec4 I did the *LOVES!* thing. Ew.
