4.5/5 stars (0.5stars gone for the incomplete ending. Incomplete, not lousy)

I can't stop raving about how good this movie is. Especially for an NC16 movie. I would not mind paying to watch it again. This is one of the few ones that I don't cover my mouth and slouch down in my seat, but instead crushing the papercup on the left hand and gripping Yj's hand tightly on the right. For the last part that is, when Esther (the orphan) was gonna kill the family. You would expect different types of killing methods shown during the movie - arson on a treehouse, hammering on the head, stabbing in the chest, stuffing the pillow on a person's face. Whenever I tell people how awesome these killing scenes are, they call me a sadist :( There will also be an unexpected twist in the movie, which explains quite alot of things that happened previously.

Btw, this is more of thriller movie rather horror. :3 BLOODTIES NEXT!

Up was the movie I watched before Orphan. Not really a big cartoon fan but since there were lots of raves about the movie, thus decided to watch the non-3D one with Eng and Keefe. Cute movie, but you can sort of guess the story line. Some parts are touching while the rest are just fun parts which you would expect in a family movie. Look out for the short clip before the movie too. Would definately make you go "Awwww.." :) back to top?
