A blabber of stuff that I wanna say
The last 2 days of work was crazy. On Monday I was working for the afternoon shift, so I decided to back to SP for the last Miss Mr SP (MMSP) audition. Highly doubt I will get in considering how my interviews are always fucked up and never right. So they asked this one question which left me speechless - in a bad way.
SPSU Interviewer (SPSUI): So, what are you talents?
Me: Erm... I have none? Wait wait lemme think. Eh...
SPSUI: Like dancing or maybe singing? (wtf total boring standard talents -_-)
SPSUI: Cause we have a segment where you must perform a talent show for about 10min.
Me: *thinking OMFG!* Eh... Maybe I can learn a dance routine from Dancesports and perform.
SPSUI: Okayyy.
SUCKS OKAY, not to have any real talent. I wish I could have YJ's talent - play piano/drums/netball and smart. Hmphhh. I really regretted not picking up anything, not even the violin or guitar. Of course I could say play the clarinet, BUT I haven't touched the thing for like YEARS. Okay Maybe like 1 1/2 years only, but still I suck and only can play a 30 sec Minuet song for them. (You would only get this if you know me personally. LOL!)
Oh yea, and before I came to school I lost my work shoes!!! Of all things I could lose lah. I wished I lost my umbrella instead, $2.90 only. Totally panicked but I just headed to school for the interview. Luckily Leanne lent me her over-sized shoes for the day at work, if not I would have to buy a new pair :( Earlier I was thinking if anyone stole my shoes, they must be some moronic fucktard because my shoes stink alot!!! But I decided to try my luck after work at Woodlands interchange and THEY HAVE IT. Wooooo! Glad the person who found it was smart enough to know not to keep it! Good for him/her.
Well, it has been 2 days since I became jobless and its not a good thing. I have been sleeping at crazy hours in the morning and waking up at crazy hours of the afternoon. I do not want a repeat with the whole depression thing that happened last long holiday, but it seems that time passes faster this way. Hopefully I can find those temporary roadshow jobs, or the one I just had.
Been thinking of going back to do hotel banqueting, which is like HAAHAHAHA. Going to kill myself with all that heavy trays and running back and forth, but its the experience trying it. Definitely not going back to Meritus Mandrin due to my bad record *cough cought*, but perhaps I might be trying out Pan Pacific or Hilton? Although its more strict, but I think 1 to 1 table should be less stressful right? Plus the evening dinner working time will suit my current body clock more eh? Anyone go with me? :(
Anyway this is a good time to catch up with my dearest friends. Still have yet to cancel anything from my people to meet slash do list. Just caught up with Leanne in 3 hours phone call in the morning, by that I mean from 2am-5am. Crazy, but awesome. I love long telephone conversations with people. To me, it really beats the modern instant messaging or SMSes which I don't get why people like so much - other than its cost factor. Well after all IM/SMS = free and calling = $$$. Okay, just got reminded of a certain someone who is a fucking cheapo always making me do the calling. Grrrr.
End of the week coming, and looking forward to next week activities. Till then.
