So what are the biggest turn-offs in a date to me? I'm not going to be boring and list out the usual things like bad breath or facial hair. Too cliche already, must type out stuff that is more "interesting"! Haha.I think after this post nobody would wanna date me ._.

It would be a turn-off if my date..
Is late for a dates.
MAJOR IMPORTANT FACTOR. Your punctuality really shows how much you bother. Being late for a date shows you lack responsibility and it could show that it does not have any significance to you.
Lacks a sense of chivalry.
Chivalry is seriously dead! What happened to men opening doors for us and pushing our seats in? Or a simple "please" if you want to ask for something or "thank you". Guys who are still chivalric either hard to find or ALL G-O-N-E!
Is constantly checking phone or answering calls and messages.
It is one of the most irritating and rude habit a person can have... especially if it was on a first date. I would feel neglected and wonder if I'm too boring for you - to the extent that you have to date your mobile phone and not me. :(
Is swearing like nobody's business.
I understand if a person is super pissed and starts cursing and swearing in every language he knows. But using vulgarities in every sentence can be a big turn off. Is it really necessary to use the F-word or private parts in hokkien unnecessarily?
Is a narcissist.
One way of showing this is by monopolising the conversation we are having. In other words, having the conversation revolving about he, him and himself. Ewww to the MAX.
Is a vain bitch.
One obvious sign is that he takes much longer than me to prepare and get ready. Or maybe even looking at every reflective surface just to make sure that he's hair is in place.
Is a cheapskate.
Call me a fussy or a high-maintenance person, but going to Kopitiam for a proper date sucks. Especially if he doesn't even offer to buy and pay your food.

To be honest, I didn't want to watch it initially because I thought it would be some boring comedy show. But after I watched the trailer on Youtube, I WAS PROVED WRONG!! It looked some cool romance comedy that I could watch with my friends or maybe my first date? Hehe.
Well, one thing is for sure... I can definitely relate well to Abby Richter (Katherine Heigl), because I'm romantically challenged as well! Normally I would be damn nervous during dates and will secretly send S.O.S messages to my friends asking for help. This movie might be able to teach me a trick or two in the dating game. It's best if we picked up some "skills" when we're still young eh? ;)
Not to mention I am legal enough to catch NC16 comedies! AWESOME.
Be a fan at the official Facebook page and catch The Ugly Truth when it opens in cinemas on the 17th September 2009!
