Bare
Yesterday was probably the most tiring day ever.
Woke up at an ungodly hour in the morning to meet Alwyn at Habourfront. From there, we took a cab to Marina Keppel Club. For those who don't know, the place is a little island beside Singapore where the rich bitches stay and park their yacht! One glass of juice at the restaurant is a whopping $8! Plus GST and service charge would be around $10?! With $10 you can buy like 5 packets of 500ml orange juice from the supermarket. But then again, you're paying for the ambiance, and excellent *cough cough* service there.
Felt all strange but familiar being in F&B again. Spent a total of 4 hours setting up the table, refilling glasses and clearing tables. Pay was very good, $10/hr and the people there are alright. They seem to remember my name for then entire duration, but can't say the same for me ._. My poor feet is full of blisters now after being tortured in those flats. After work I couldn't take it anymore so I actually walked barefooted out of the club, and ALL the way to Habourfront bus interchange. Actually come to think of it, I walked around barefooted in Plaza Sing, Suntec city and Marina square. Although it's pretty unglamm, disgusting and dirty, but I felt so much better! I wouldn't mind doing it again, just feeling the cold concrete floor below my feet.
