Living large/small
This house is starting to shape up a little. We've brought over about 80% of our items over. But I'm still living in denial, and not unpacking my stuff. I still hate to know that I'm gonna call this place my home. :(Differences living in the HDB I'm living at now and the condominium I was staying at previously. So this is based on personal experience, and I'm NOT discriminating HDB flats.
1. The moment you walk to your place...
C: You'll be greeted by the guards and a nice pond or waterfall depending on your condo.
HDB: When you walk to your block (especially at night), you'll greeted by old ah peks sitting down either 1) talking loudly on their phones, 2) staring at you till you walk to the lift... if you're lucky, BOTH.
2. The moment you enter the lift...
C: You'll see TWO brightly lifts that has buttons to every single level. Not forgetting the huge ass mirrors to admire yourself while waiting to reach your level.
HDB: One dimly lit lift, occasionally trash on the floor for you to stare at. Only buttons 1, 6, 11 and the bell.
3. The moment you reach home entrance...
C: Only one door.
HDB: Have to unlock 1 gate, 1 door. Then have to lock the gate after your come in. I very lazy lah!!! Spare me the hassle :(
4. The moment you enter the toilet...
The toilet and bathing area has a larger gap between them. And it makes a difference!!!
The place I'm staying at is pure torture. The water that comes out from the shower hose is REALLY PATHETIC. Not exaggerating. We have to resort to boiling water, pouring it into a huge bucket and bathe from there. That bad.
5. The moment you enter the kitchen...
C: Quite small, barely cook anything except eggs and maggie. Hahaha.
HDB: Very spacious, more room to walk around. Hopefully can start trying to bake!
