YOG songs

You know this YOG theme song that has been playing repeatedly over and over after every TV show? I admit that I really like the song. It makes me feel very patriotic, that I'm proud to be a Singaporean and my country would be hosting the first YOG in history! But I just have one issue with the video...

Why is that dude from Europe playing the guitar in the middle of no where?! Best part is that there's no plug, so technically we cannot "hear" anything he's "playing". I don't know if the purpose is for him to look cool or rocker dude. -_-

Okay so I went to youtube him and apparently playing the guitar is like his thing. His name is Steven Appleton, and he's hot! But he still looks retarded playing the guitar while standing on grass. Check his cover of Firelies, he's quite talented.

And the other thing that horrifies me is the JJ Lin song. The "oh yeah oh yeah hey!" rubbish. Wtf? It's like the most retarded song ever, probably the best way foreigners can mock us. I mean I thought JJ WAS TALENTED. So why on earth did he produce this nonsense song? -_-

But I should really admire him for being thickskin and do the actions without feeling paiseh. Not to mention he can look so happy doing it, like it's the bestest song evaaaa.
